Established in 1982 by Barbara Whitten and the late Ruth Weinstock, Anywhere Travel is an award-winning Australian-owned company. With 27 staff, we are one of the largest independent travel agents in Australia and boast unrivalled expertise in business and leisure travel.
Our ‘one stop shop’ approach guarantees exceptional attention to detail and personalised handling of every customer’s travel plans. We are not a call centre, instead we offer dedicated 24/7 support through qualified agents. Travel is a highly competitive industry and our success and longevity is a result of our ability to stay relevant and our commitment to never stop learning.
At Anywhere Travel our staff are our most valuable resource. Our team is extremely well trained and passionate about travel with a number of key staff reaching more than 10 or over 20 years of service.

For 45 years, she has been the driving force of the development of Anywhere Travel. Further, with 37 years’ experience, her vision for niche market diversification has been consolidated in recent years through implementation of latest technology and specialist staff training. She has a vast network of contacts and an extensive knowledge of the workings of the travel industry.
Nik Young
General Manager
With over 21 years in the travel industry Nik has recently joined Anywhere Travel. Growing up in many different countries led to a love of travel and the aviation industry.

After 12 years developing travel programmes in London (UK) and New York (USA) he made the move to Australia in 2006. His role as General Manager covers all aspects of the business, including technology, business & product development, customer & supplier management, as well as staff development.

Steve has been with Anywhere Travel for over 7 years. Steve has 12 years’ experience in the travel industry with 9 years specialising in luxury leisure travel, he successfully guides the leisure team with the best suppliers.

I have been in the travel industry for over 19 years and with Anywhere Travel for the last 4 years working with the Corporate and Leisure teams. Throughout my time in the travel industry , I have been lucky to experience many places I never imagined and love to travel to the USA, Europe, Africa and Asia. Amanda has been in the travel industry as an accountant for over 10 years. Amanda finished her Master’s degree of Accountant CY at UTS and joined the Anywhere Travel team in 2008.
